Hi, everyone! I'm finally able to post again, thanks to the wonderful, generous help from my gal pal, Gina's, husband!! I cannot thank him enough!!!
The inspiration for these seed packet 'pouches' came from my very creative friend, Rochelle. She had posted some on her blog recently, and since spring is here, it put in the mood to make some myself! (Also, I really wanted to play with my new SU cardstocks and ribbons.)
My measurements for the pouches are a little different that Rochelle. I cut the paper at 8.5 x 4, then score only once at 3 1/2. I , then adhere skinny wacky tape for the sides of the pouch, and finish off with brads near the top. Then I just decorated the fronts with patterned paper; oval punch outs; rubons; and, ribbon.
These make an adorable quick gift for anyone to welcome spring!
SU papers: Tangerine Tango; Pacific Point; Riding Hood Red; and, Washington Apple pattern paper.
SU ribbons: Pumpkin Pie striped grosgrain; Real Red striped grosgrain; and, Cranberry Crisp stitched grosgrain.
Miscellaneous: Bo Bunny Rubons-Garden Chic and K&Company eyelets
