"Teacher Gift #2"

This is another desk organizer that I've decorated for my friend to give as a teacher's gift. I had done the previous one in 'old-school' patterned paper, however, she need the other two done in more primary school colors. I found this fun paper by Pebbles, Inc. and thought it would be perfect. I think it turned out cute and fun! Now, I've just got one more to go. I'm going to use the same patterned paper on it, but have orange as my background. I hope it turns out cute, as well. On the first organizer, I used my Xyron to adhere the paper, however, on the last two, I used double-sided tape -- it seemed to work better.

"Teacher Gift"

This is a clear, acrylic desk organizer that I got at Office Max and decorated with cardstock and patterned school paper. I am making 3 of these for a friend to give as teacher gifts. (I am planning on decorating the other 2 differently.) I got this adorable idea from my dear friend, Amanda. At our last crop together, she was decorating one for her classroom, and I thought it turned out so cute. Thanks, Amanda!

"A Little Cleaning"

I had to do a little cleaning up in my scrapbook room. It had gotten way out of hand. This is the main table I work on, however, I have tables lining every wall. But, the other tables still look like they could explode at any minute. LOL I've got quite a few projects to get done, so I knew I had to get alittle bit of order to be able to work.

"Thank You Gift"

I decorated this jar for my step-brother, Ross. He did a great favor by picking up some things at Michael's for me, so I wanted to give him a "thank-you" gift. I found this small, glass jar at Hobby Lobby and I tied ribbon around the lid, adhered patterned paper to the lid and filled with mixed nuts. Quick and easy!

"An Autumn Do-Over"

Ok, everyone...I had to do an Autumn 'do-over'. The previous post of this steno book showed the bright blue cover shining through the ribbons and the more I looked at it, it was giving me nightmares! (Scroll down and look) I had thought my spiral punch was malfunctioning, but of course, it was me, not the punch. My dear friend/consultant had to send me the tutorial on how to use the spiral punch...pitiful, huh? Anyway, once I mastered the punch, I was able to redo the top portion of the steno book. Looks much better, huh?

"Traveling Treats"

Alyssa is leaving tomorrow to travel & see her grandparents, aunts & uncles and cousins on her daddy's side of the family. So, I thought I would sent some small 'treats'. The aunts/uncles will get photo cards with Alyssa's soccer picture, the girl cousins will get princess lipglosses and the boy cousins will get chapsticks. (I created character holders for the chapsticks like I had previously done for the princess lipglosses) I have also framed some recent photos of Alyssa for her grandparents. This way, Alyssa will have a little something to give everyone!

"Autumn"

I am ready for autumn! I'm done with the summer thing! I look forward to all things 'fall' -- cooler weather; school starting back; pumpkins...well, you get the idea. I decorated this steno book with that in mind. One of my favorite brands is Bo Bunny. I've always loved their designs and themes. I used their patterned paper to decorate the bottom of the pad and matched the top with a wonderful, matching shade of Bazzill (another favorite brand). The cream blossom is also Bazzill and the large orange brad is from Queen&Co. I just used misc. ribbon from my stash. (Please forgive the bright blue steno cover shining through the top....my spiral punch malfunctioned)

Hello!

Hello, everyone! I got the new fall/winter Stampin' Up! catalog yesterday from my consultant and, my oh my! They have got several new items that I must have...LOL Also, I am starting to get things ready for my 'booth' at an upcoming extended crop. This will be the first opportunity for me to vend some of my papercrafting projects. So, I've got lots to do!

"Locker Necessities"

My dear daughter, Alyssa, will be heading into the 5th grade soon, which means that we are leaving elementary and entering middle school. Even though this comes with new responsibilities, it also comes with new 'perks'. One of the perks is having her own locker for the first time. So, I decided to decorate these mini, magnetic corkboards, with ribbon, for Alyssa and her best friend to hang in their lockers.

"Authentic Boy"

I really do not get the chance to create much boy stuff, however, I just loved this "Authentic Boy" line from Bo Bunny, so, I was on a 'mission' to do something with it. I found this photo cube at Wal-Mart and thought it would be a fun project with the boy paper. I know you really can't tell much from the picture, but I tried to decorate each 'side' differently.

"Desk Accessories"

I decorated these acrylic frames with patterned paper and post-it notes. I think they will go perfect on a desk or counter. These are quick and simple to make! On the horizontal one, the oranges match much better in real life. On the vertical one, I just loved this paper and was glad I was able to match up a post-it and embellishments with it.

"Baby Girl Book"

This is a baby girl book that I'm working on for my mom to give to a co-worker who has a new granddaughter. I love working with the 6x6 chipboard books from Bo Bunny -- they are my favorite. I am using alot of misc. baby paper, embellishments and, of course, ribbons! I hope they like it! (Sorry the scan did not turn out that great)
