"Summertime"

Well, summer is here! So, to celebrate it's arrival, I thought I'd use some fun 'summer' themed paper by Doodlebug and create this post-it note holder. It turns out like a little book -- really neat! The inspiration for this holder came from Angie at Chic 'n Scratch. Angie has a great tutorial on her site with all the how-to on these!

Oh, by the way, my dear daughter is leaving in a couple of days to go to East Tennessee to spend two (2) weeks with her grandparents. So, I'm making her little things like this to take with her. She's going to have a blast and I'm so excited for her! However, we've never really been apart that long and I must say it seems that I am the only one kinda sad! heehee

Anyway, back on track. . .I've posted a smaller photo below of the inside of the holder.

"Seeing Double?"

I got a double order for this clipboard for end of year teacher gifts. The school themed paper by Bo Bunny has been really popular and works great on these clipboards. I still like how the black at the top makes it 'pop'!

These are for two 'separate' orders, so I hope both gals like them!!

"Surprise, Surprise...A Clipboard!"

This is my first decorated clipboard for my April booth. Well, I can't have a booth without throwing in a couple of clipboards! I don't know why, it's just something I do?!?!

I love both of these Bo Bunny paper collections. The bottom half is from the school collection and the top portion is the double dots collection. I've never used black on a clipboard, but I really think it made it pop!

I'm going to decorate 3 more clipboards for my booth, but I haven't decided on the papers yet. I'll know them when I run across them and they jump out at me and scream....clipboard!! LOL

"A+ Locker"

Ok....I know that all I've been posting is school stuff, but bare with me, this soon shall pass. LOL Well, I have come to learn that organizing and decorating your locker is a big part of 5th grade. (According to a 5th grader) So, for the last two nights, my dear daughter has 'collected' things to take to school the next day for her locker. I have already decorated her a mirror, picture frame and ordered locker shelves. Now, I've decorated this chipboard "a" with patterned paper, ribbon and magnets for her to add to her 'collection'. So, maybe our remodeling of a 5th grade locker is over...for now.

"Decorative Alphas"

I got these white chipboard alpha letters at Hobby Lobby to decorate for two of my daughter's friends. I decorated each one with their name in rubons; favorite color flower and ribbon. They are going to hang them in their bedrooms. These were super easy to do!
